Meet the Team
Churches Together on One Mission Together
Our team at CLiKS is diverse in experience, age, gender and denomination
but we are all united by Christ.
David Cooke
Chair of Trustees
David has taught pupils of all ages in schools and worked with children and young people in all kinds of small groups. He still loves working with children and wants to see schools prosper, including emotionally and spiritually. David is Pastor of New Hope Apostolic Church on South Street, Keighley.
Janette Jones
Secretary
Janette was born and brought up in Keighley. She has worked with children since her teenage years and currently leads Friday Club for 5 – 11 year olds.
Janette has been a trustee with CLiKS for over ten years. She feels that this work is so important as we can help children to know how precious they are to God, and how much He wants to be part of their lives.
Dale Barton
Vice Chair
Dale led inner city churches in Preston and Bradford for twenty years. For eight years between these assignments he was a full time ecumenical adviser on inter-faith relations. He wants all the children in Primary School in Keighley to know the main stories of Jesus which are the foundation of our culture whether acknowledged or not.
Jan Hesslewood
Trustee
Jan became a trustee in 2020, following retirement from a career in teaching, spanning forty years, latterly as Assistant Head in a Keighley school. She is now the Associate Christian Faith Tutor for the Bradford Council Interfaith Team, working in schools and training teachers, when Christian input is required. Jan is also a Licensed Lay Minister in the Church of England. She enjoys working in schools across Keighley and beyond, in all these roles, sharing the Christian story.
